Sonik Porwal, co-founder of The Aktion Group, was most recently the Director – Partners & Alliances at EMC, managing EMC’s alliances and partnerships  for India and SAARC. Earlier, during a two year stint at Microsoft India, Sonik was responsible for ISV strategy and engagement for subsidiary. He worked at Oracle India, during 1996 to 2002, in various roles managing strategic alliances, creating and developing partners for Enterprise Application sales, channel sales, and platform alliances. Prior to that, Sonik was associated with HCL Hewlett-Packard in their Direct Sales Organisation. Sonik  has an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, and a MBA from the Institute of Management Studies, Indore, with specialization in Marketing.
